Prof. Barchiesi and Prof. Turco speakers at the META-MEETING MEMOCS 2026

Professors Emilio Barchiesi and Emilio Turco presented two talks at the Second edition of the META-MEETING MEMOCS 2026. Methods in Metamaterials design: mathematical modelling, numerical techniques, experiments, that was held between April 13 and April 17, 2026 in Arpino (Italy).

The event was organized by the International Research Center on Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS) of the University of L’Aquila.

In his talk titled “Solitary wave propagation in monolayered pantographic waveguides”, Prof. Barchiesi presented original research published in Barchiesi (2025), while Prof. Turco, in his talk “Elastica of pantographic curves led by conic sections: A discrete point of view”, presented his recent research published in Turco (2026).
